A colleague introduced Tony Dinh, whom she met via Twitter for me. I got excited when figuring out he built https://hopamchuan.com/ - a very well-known website among the instrument players. He now lives in Singapore with a plan to return to Vietnam soon. Despite the increasing traction of DevUtils and BlackMagic, he’s still so humble and kind. That makes me admire even more.
After Tony Dinh’s story on-air about a week, he announced that he quit job to pursue indie hacking full-time. A little bit weird, but congrats to him for quitting his job 😆 . As he said, most indie hackers' dream is to make a living out of side projects and get to work on them full time.
Read his inspiring story here, which I divided into 2 chapters:
Chap 1: Software engineer, what else besides the 9 to 5 work?
Chap 2: Indie Hacker - The story from passion
